steps to get your taxes filed:

1. Consultation & Offer

Schedule your Introductory complimentary 15-20 MINUTE CONSULTATION AND REVIEW OUR ENGAGEMENT LETTER

The FIRST step on the path to getting where you want to go starts with an honest conversation. We will thus schedule an introductory Phone, Zoom or In-House meeting with you. Please give us a call or send us an email so that we can provide this 15-20 minute complimentary consultation; during this meeting we will discuss the general process of working with our office and how our services align with your needs. Once we have determined the right direction together we’ll help you stay the course. After this meeting we will provide you with our formal offer and ENGAGEMENT LETTER documenting or agreement and rates. This formal engagement letter will be sent to you using the DocuSign® tool.

2. Documentation & Tax Prep.

We will send you a list of the tax documents required together with a lINK to our Secure portal where you can upload pdf’s & scans of your tax documents. Once we have all documents we will start with the tax preparation.

Upload or drop-off the tax documents required to complete your U.S. and/or Swiss Tax Returns at our office or to our P4 secure server. These can include your Identification, U.S. W-2 and/or Swiss Salary Statement (Form 11. – ESTV) as well as your Bank Balance, Interest & Dividend Statements.

Based on this information we will prepare your U.S and/or Swiss Tax returns. Calculating and applying the respective U.S. Foreign and Swiss National Tax Credits. We will than estimate your U.S.and Swiss Tax Liabilities.

3. Management Review

All returns are reviewed by our managing director Norm who is a Licensed tax specialist in both switzerland and the United states. This ensures accurate estimates and diminishes & curtails any chance that your return will be questioned be the respective tax authorities

Norm will analyse and finalize your U.S. & Swiss Tax Returns. He will also compare them to your previous years taxes and at this time may contact you to address any concerns which we may have identified. This formal in-house review is the final step in our process and guarantees that your return is BULLET-PROOF. Our final management review also ensures that our office maintains the excellent reputation which it has developed with the tax administration.

4. Approve & Pay

Closing meeting to REVIEW the return and PAY for our services

We will forward you the Tax Return for your REVIEW together with our detailed invoice. If at this time, you have any questions concerning your return you can gladly request a 15-20 minute appointment where we can discuss the positions on your Tax Return. During this time we can also discuss possible future tax planning possibilities.

Payment is requested via bank transfer.


YOU’RE DONE !

After you sign the Engagement Letter we begin work on your tax return. Our normal turnaround time is 60 – 75 business days from receipt of your documents. If you have an urgent case – we can provide rush service, so please let us know.
